What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a global giving initiative started in 2012. It’s an opportunity to give back to our communities. This year Giving Tuesday is on November 29th. Create your own Giving Group by launching an AngeLink fundraiser for a cause that inspires you. Share your inspiration with your friends and family. It’s a great time for Thanks-Giving!

An Inspiring Fundraiser Example

Marissa Collections, a small boutique in Naples, FL, is helping its community in the wake of Hurricane Ian. They set up an AngeLink fundraiser inviting their employees, customers and vendors to all pitch in. In a few short weeks, Marissa Collection’s AngeLink raised over $227,000 for local disaster relief efforts! Now that’s inspiring!

*Limited to one donation per Giving Tuesday fundraiser organizer

Anyone thirteen and over! You can fundraise individually, or as a team with your family, friend group, colleagues, classmates, church small group, teammates or neighbors! Just be sure to include #GT in your fundraiser name to join the Giving Tuesday movement.

Choose a cause that’s dear to you–a neighbor who’s in the hospital, a local pet shelter, a school coat drive or a well-known nonprofit. If you or a team member is closely connected to the cause, you’ll feel passionate about your fundraiser. (Note: All donations to nonprofits are tax deductible.)

In crowdfunding the best way to succeed is by sharing your fundraiser with as many people as possible! Share your fundraiser on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and SnapChat multiple times and explain why you’re fundraising. Also, reach out to friends by text and email!

We care deeply about each person and fundraiser on our platform. Through our foundation, we will personally donate to the first 500 eligible Giving Tuesday fundraisers to help you gain momentum. We are cheering for you and provide practical assistance throughout your fundraiser.
