AngeLink Community Foundation Partners with Target for Local Outreach Event with $10,000 donation
Days before Christmas, members of the AngeLink Community Foundation (including AngeLink CEO, Gerry Poirier and CFO, Laura Ariza) hosted a community outreach event for local families from underserved communities affected by Hurricane Ian. Each family was given a Christmas tree and a $100 Target gift card to buy Christmas presents for their children. A big THANK YOU to Target that generously donated the largest corporate gift to the AngeLink Community Foundation to financially contribute to the event. We love you Target!
AngeLink Featured on NBC2
After Hurricane Ian, Southwest Florida was in great need. Lead anchor for NBC2, Kelly Burns, featured AngeLink while covering local relief efforts that followed the natural disaster. This footage shows our Angel Grants program in action, where our team members (including CEO, Gerry Poirier, and CFO, Laura Ariza) traveled throughout the area distributing grants to selected families and individuals in need.
AngeLink Featured on ABC7 News for Helping a Ukrainian Refugee Family
The Tonkonah family arrived in the US with very few belongings, feeling totally disoriented after fleeing their home in Ukraine. That’s when our team at AngeLink decided to use our crowdfunding platform and community of thousands to support this mother and her three daughters through a $10,000 campaign. AngeLink Partners with VYRD Insurance Company, Raising $15,000
Florida-based insurance company, VYRD, partnered with AngeLink Community Foundation to give back to their community in the wake of Hurricane Ian, stating: "We know the rebuilding and recovery process for Southwest Florida families will be long and difficult – and we want to help as much as we can." VYRD's fundraiser surpassed its original $10,000 goal, raising $15,000 (to date). We celebrate VYRD Insurance Company's success and are thankful for their generosity in matching donations and supporting their community.
