Our dad Wendell passed away on Nov 23rd. Even though she and our dad were divorced, they always remained good friends. Over the past few years as dad's health deteriorated, mom voluntarily became his caretaker. In assisted living she regularly visited him and drove him to and from his doctor's appointments. As his dementia worsened, she took on everything for him and made sure he could still attend family get-togethers and holidays.
