Emergency Support for Heather & Her Children

Hey everyone, I’m making this for my best friend, Heather, because she’s going through something really hard right now and could truly use some support. She recently left a domestic violence situation to protect herself and her two kids. It wasn’t an easy decision filing charges and alerting the authorities, but it was the right one. Right now, her husband—the only source of income—has a court ordered DV Protection Order against him for the next three months for the safety of everyone involved, so he is unable to help financially. This has left her suddenly trying to figure out how to cover everything on her own, with no income at the moment, due to her having quit her job several years ago to focus on raising their children.
