Jessica’s Cancer Treatment

It started off with symptoms of a cold in early October 2023. I had a mild cough, runny nose, and skin irritation around my ears and eyes. The Skin issues at the time were more of a worry so I went to my PCP in December and from there she sent me to see a dermatologist who presumed psoriasis or eczema they prescribed a few different steroid topical creams but it wasn’t working and my skin seemed to be constantly irritated and itchy. While my skin issues were something I was worried about, my cough was worsening. And I started to struggle with shortness of breath, it felt like I had asthma or something was preventing me from breathing in enough oxygen. I would lose my breath doing simple tasks like walking up the stairs and talking a lot would take up my breath and I would catch myself gasping for air.
