David Schubert loving Memorial Bench

Dave left us Jan. 5th 2023. Our family would like to dedicate a memorial bench on his favorite hill at Bernal Heights. It was walking distance from his home and his happy place where he often sought clarity, peace, and joy. Dave was a long time artistic photographer and historian who documented San Francisco's Mission District for decades. He is known to his family as a sweet, loving son, mischievous brother and to his friends as kindhearted and artistic "Legend". A fan writes, "His imprint on skateboarding and graffiti culture are unparalleled, and we are so grateful for his meticulous documentation of a time before smartphones, when capturing these moments was precious and rare." Dave is being referred to as a Legend in his industry, adored by thousands for his meticulous craft and generosity.
