Damian Martin's Eagle Scout Project

Hi! My name is Damian Martin. I am a Boy Scout in Troop 340 in Phoenix, Arizona. At the moment I am working to get my Eagle Scout rank. One of the last steps of this journey is the Eagle Scout project for another organization or group. For mine, I am building a Gaga Ball pit for Ville De Marie Academy in Scottsdale, Arizona. Gaga Ball is a fun, fast-paced game in an octagon that is 20ft in diameter with 3 feet high walls. In this game, a kickball is put in the pit, and everyone is trying to be the last person in the pit. This is done by getting other people out by hitting them in the legs with the ball. The catch to this is that people can only hit it with their hands. This results in a fun, fast-paced, all-inclusive game that is great for kids of all ages. Any money raised through this fundraiser will go to the cost of building materials and refreshments for those assisting in the build.
