Today I’m sharing something I never imagined having to write. My dad was recently diagnosed with AML - (Acute Myeloid Leukemia), and our world has been shaken in a way that still doesn’t feel real. One moment we were living ordinary life, and the next we were hearing the kind of news that changes everything. It all happened so fast. We’re still trying to catch up to the reality of it all, but right now our only focus is getting him the care, treatment, and strength he needs to fight with everything he has. Because he can’t work during treatment, and because Laura, his wife, will be missing significant amounts of work to sit beside him, advocate for him, and make sure he never faces a single appointment alone - any funds received will go directly toward the things that keep him steady in the middle of this storm.
