Stability & Hope for Monica and Ibrahim

Asking for help is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. For many years, I have pushed through grief, serious illness, and overwhelming physical challenges to provide a stable life for my child. But after multiple life-threatening diagnoses and ongoing disability - for me and now my son too - I am now facing a level of physical exhaustion and financial strain that I can no longer manage alone. I am a widow and single parent raising a child with special health needs. My husband was diagnosed with cancer just two months after we were married, and I cared for him until his passing in the emergency room when our son was only two years old. Since then, I have worked tirelessly to rebuild our lives and create stability for our small family.
