Urgent Appeal: Help Yawei Overcome Aggressive Stage 4 Lymphoma

Our beloved Yawei is courageously battling stage 4 diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), an aggressive and rapidly spreading cancer. Together, with a team of musicians and artists local to Austin, TX, we are raising funds through a non-profit fundraiser event to directly support her medical bills. After misdiagnosis in the U.S., Yawei urgently traveled to Izmir, Turkey, where a leading oncologist, Dr. Yusuf Yıldırım, performed a 12-hour emergency debulking surgery on January 17, successfully removing 98% of visible tumors. Dr. Yıldırım emphasized that even a few days’ delay would have drastically reduced her chances of survival. While the surgery was a critical milestone, Yawei’s fight is far from over. DLBCL can leave microscopic traces throughout the body, necessitating immediate intensive chemotherapy to prevent rapid progression.
