Meet Azha, the most giggly, radiant, joy-filled baby you'll ever encounter. Born with the incredibly rare congenital heart condition known as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), Azha is one of the precious few affected by this challenging diagnosis. From the moment we discovered her condition during pregnancy, our world stopped. The baby we prayed so hard for was facing something we couldn't fix - every parent's worst nightmare. After months of tears & fear, we came to the realize powerful: Azha was perfect, just in her own way. Our sweet Azha simply needed parents who would stand by her side and fight for her every step of the way. At OU Children's Hospital, the medical team laid out a seemingly straightforward plan: a series of surgeries to support her partially developed heart — PA bands, Norwood, Glenn, and eventually the Fontan procedure.
