Hello, my name is Madison Knight and I want to share my journey with you. In November of 2024, I was diagnosed with Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma Cancer. The primary tumor was growing on my hip, and with the help of surgery, a 7lb tumor was successfully removed. However, the cancer had also spread to my lungs, leading to the start of chemotherapy in January 2025. The treatment was incredibly tough on my body, resulting in frequent hospital visits due to the challenges of tolerating the chemo. During one of these visits, brain scans revealed that the cancer had also reached my brain. Despite the successful removal of a single tumor, subsequent scans showed three more locations of the disease in my brain. After enduring nearly a month of continuous hospitalization, undergoing numerous tests and treatments, I reached the heartbreaking decision to discontinue all treatments and embrace the natural course of the cancer.
