Grandma (Kathleen G. Chaplin) Stroke Recovery Fund

Kathleen Chaplin is a staple in the Westford community as she has greeted all the children who've attended Abbot School as they arrived on the school busses in the morning for the past 30 or so years. In that time she also reminded the children on lunch to play safe and bellowed the piercing "DON'T FORGET YOUR LUNCH BOX!!" that will exist in Westford natives' memories forever. She also ran the lunch money borrowing box, repaying it out of her own pocket when a child couldn't and helped the students feel special with reservations for the coveted Seaside Cafe. As a principal aid she made sure the teachers had all of the copies and similar supplies for molding the students she loved so much. Prior to working at the school throughout her retirement, she was an administrative assistant for the United States Airforce after she underwent some nurse's training.
