The landlord that stole Christmas

A family with a single mother struggling to make ends meet finally gets a job to try and pay rent. She gives all she has to partially pay what she owes - and then, without warning, is told that by the Landlord herself that an eviction has been processed. Not only does she have until the 5th of December to pay this month and next month’s rent, she also has to pay processing fees. With winter in full bloom and nowhere else to go, she’s now at the end of her rope with nothing to fall back on. Not even a cent in her pocket.
