National Mass Shooting Victims’ Fund: Lewiston, ME

Our hearts are breaking, once again, for the many victims of another mass shooting, this time in Lewiston, Maine. The one thing all mass shootings have in common is the extreme trauma that victimizes the entire community – most specifically the injured and the surviving families of those who perished. Victims of these horrific events of mass violence need assistance financially, physically and emotionally. The people most equipped to help these victims are victims themselves, those from previous mass shooting events. VictimsFirst is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit created by victims and family members of mass shootings. VictimsFirst has established the National Mass Shooting Victims’ Fund to fill a resource and financial void for victims and survivors of mass violence.
