In Memory of Danny DeGrande

Danny died on October 31, 2022 as a result of a Medical Emergency. He was a Senior Nursing Major who came to TCU after serving five years in the United States Marine Corps as an Aviation Structural Mechanic. He chose to continue his military service as a Reservist while he pursued his undergraduate degree. Danny was expected to graduate this December. He was described as a true servant-leader. The nursing cohort described him as sincere and earnest, a hard worker willing to help others in countless ways. He used his talents to create and lead the student team in developing a sensory path for pre-K, Kinder, and special education students at Morningside Elementary School as part of a Public Health Clinical project. The graduating TCU Nursing cohort would appreciate any support for his wife, Hannah and his family. We are deeply saddened by this event and want his family and wife to feel supported in every way.
