Stronger Every Day: Aaron's Recovery from Stroke

Dear Friends and Family, On August 2nd, my sister Lauren’s husband, Aaron, suffered a major cerebellar stroke that turned their world upside down. In the early weeks, he was on a ventilator in the ICU, but through incredible strength and determination, he has made remarkable progress and is now in in-patient rehab. Because of how the stroke affected his brain, Aaron is courageously relearning the basics of daily life—walking, speaking, balancing, and hand–eye coordination. He is also facing double vision, which makes simple tasks like walking both exhausting and dizzying. Still, Aaron continues to meet each challenge head-on with courage and perseverance. While his spirit is strong, the road ahead is long. Medical bills and time away from work have created an overwhelming financial burden.
