Support the Urias Family in Their Time of Need During a routine check-up, Tamara received devastating news: a mediastinal tumor the size of an eggplant was pressing on her heart, compromising a third of her left lung, and extending upwards to compress her esophagus and trachea. Diagnosed with mediastinal (thymic) large B-cell lymphoma, the tumor has also affected her intrathoracic lymph nodes. Tamara is undergoing chemo-immunotherapy in an attempt to shrink the tumor that is wrapped around her vital organs, all in preparation for a possible open-heart surgery to remove it.
