Help Ryder Fight CF

Iam writing on the behalf of my daughter Macayla Yonkin, on December 1 2024 blessed our family with with an amazing baby boy named Ryder. He was happy and healthy from what we knew at the time of his birth.On his one month follow up my daughter received a phone call regarding Ryders newborn health screen that is done routine at time of delivery.The physician that called to leave her the messages stated it was urgent to return the call and she mentioned she was calling from the childrens Cystic Fibrosis program and was very adamit we called right away to go over lab results which at the time was very scary because the urgency in her messages and we also received from Ryders pediatrician to call immediately.My first daughter previously had a baby and at that time found out she was a carrier of Cystic Fibrosis which is Macaylas sister so I wondered if possibly she was also a carrier and maybe Ryders results showed he was or they wanted to test to mak sure he didn't have.
