Family Memory Turned Nightmare

What started out as a fun family memory at an indoor waterpark for the Pears family quickly turned into a terrible accident. While mom was holding the youngest, 6 month old Slade, she slipped and fell on a smooth surface. At first the family thought everything was okay due to Slade’s normal reaction. However soon after the infants eye would not open completely and cracking noises from his rib area could be heard when he was eating. The family then rushed to the nearest emergency room. After hours of waiting at the emergency room he finally had a CAT scan and x rays to determine his the full extent of his injuries. Slade suffers from a fractured skull and 3 fractured ribs. After waiting for 2 more hours for an ambulance, the hospital then determined they were unable to handle Slade’s condition.
