Caitlin & Theo House Fire

At 5 o'clock in the morning, on May 17, Caitlin woke up to her 4.5 month old daughter, South, crying. When she woke up, she realized the sound machine was turned off, and that something smelled like it was burning. She looked to her window and saw flames burning right outside her bedroom. A fire started outside the lower unit and quickly reached their upper unit, and mostly everything is a loss. Thankfully everyone made it out safely and now Caitlin will try to navigate life moving forward while trying to find the means to recover items such as a bed, new baby bottles, clothes, crib mattress etc. Unfortunately, due to a newborn at the beginning of the year, Caitlin forgot to renew her renter's insurance, so she will not be able to claim anything and much of what she has to replace will come out of her own pocket.
