EMS Hardship from Injury

My name is Walter Adler. I have opened this fundraiser for my friend and colleague, Paramedic Carmen Gonzalez. She has been in EMS for over 30 years and is currently a full time Medic at Montefiore and Bronxcare. While off duty she slipped and fell at home and badly fractured her left leg. She will need surgery and will be out of work at least 6 months. Anyone who’s had the pleasure to get to know Carmen, knows she always makes sure all those around her are doing well and are are well fed. She has always been a team player and has had so much compassion towards her co-workers and patients. It’s time for us to step up for her. Any support you can give will be greatly appreciated while she recovers. She loves watermelon, as well as some company while She recovers at Jacobi. I greatly appreciate your help.
