When I established AngeLink<\/a>, my vision was clear: to create a platform where individuals could come together to support projects, passions, and essential needs that traditional funding sources might overlook. This includes those affected by life-altering diseases. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cancer affects millions of lives worldwide<\/a>, and the urgency to find effective treatments and cures is ever-present. Yet, despite the tremendous strides made by scientists and clinicians, many promising research endeavors struggle to secure the necessary funding to progress. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With National Cancer Survivors Day approaching on June 2nd, it’s a reminder of the impact that collective action can have in the fight against this disease. While 67% of cancer patients<\/a> survive at least 5 years after diagnosis, we still have a long way to go until it\u2019s 100%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crowdfunding<\/a> has emerged as a frontrunner in this landscape, democratizing philanthropy and empowering ordinary people to become champions of scientific progress. Through AngeLink, donors have the opportunity to directly contribute to projects that resonate with their personal experiences and passions. Whether it’s a novel genetic study or helping a family pay for medical bills, every donation represents a tangible investment in cancer care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the most inspiring aspects of crowdfunding is its ability to rally communities around a common cause. National Cancer Survivors Day reminds us of the strength of those who have faced cancer head-on. It’s a day of celebration and solidarity, but it’s also a call to action to ensure that future generations have access to better treatments and outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At AngeLink, we’ve had the privilege of facilitating numerous cancer fundraisers<\/a> that have propelled innovative cancer research forward or have provided for patients and families in their time of need. Each fundraiser tells a story of courage, hope, and determination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we commemorate National Cancer Survivors Day, I am proud of the powerful impact that AngeLink is making in helping thousands of individuals and families touched by cancer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
